UK weather: Travel chaos as storms batter Britain sparking FLOODS and LANDSLIDES
HEAVY rain will spark travel chaos in parts of the UK after flooding forced residents to evacuate their homes.
Forecasters said today's milder air will continue to melt the snow and ice that battered Britain last week.
The Government has since issued eight major flood warnings and another 52 flood alerts.
Its warnings mean commuters across the country will face travel chaos today following the floods and other incidents.
But the weather will ease later on today, with temperatures reaching up to 10C in Plymouth
